Experience the sacred Buddhist pilgrimage route of Sri Lanka. This tour covers Colombo’s famous temples, ancient cities like Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa, cave temples in Dambulla, the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, and the cultural capital Kandy, ending with relaxation in Negombo.

Itinerary

Colombo

Arrival & Temple Visits

Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to Colombo. Visit Gangaramaya Temple and Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya for evening pooja ceremony. Overnight stay in Colombo.

Anuradhapura

Sacred City of Anuradhapura

After breakfast transfer to Anuradhapura. Evening visit to Sri Maha Bodhiya and Ruwanweliseya for chanting and pooja ceremonies. Overnight stay in Anuradhapura.

Dambulla

Ancient Monasteries

Visit Jethawanaramaya, Thuparamaya, Mirisawatiya, Abhayagiriya, Isurumuniya and Twin Ponds (Kuttam Pokuna). Transfer to Dambulla for overnight stay.

Polonnaruwa

Ancient Kingdom of Polonnaruwa

Visit Gal Vihara, Royal Palace, Rankoth Vihara, Lankathilaka and Vatadage. Return to Dambulla for overnight stay.

Kandy

Sigiriya & Cultural Heritage

Visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress and Dambulla Cave Temple. En route visit Aluviharaya in Matale. Transfer to Kandy for overnight stay.

Negombo

Temple of Tooth & Transfer

Visit Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and Peradeniya Botanical Garden. Transfer to Negombo for overnight stay.

Departure

Negombo Temple & Departure

Visit Negombo temples depending on time. Leisure at beach and transfer to airport for departure.
